QLD STATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2024

It was an epic weekend jam-packed with excitement, determination, and remarkable achievements as our students competed in the QLD State Championship. We had a total of 13 competitors representing our Galeb Brothers Yatala team!

Male Gi: 3rd

Female Gi: 2nd

Tahlia's Golden Debut: Competing for the very first time, Tahlia displayed amazing jiu jitsu and claimed Gold with a spectacular belly down armbar submission. Amazing work!

Lachlan's and Saphire's Brave Battle: Stepping out of their comfort zone, Lachy and Saphire took on the challenge of competing in open weight divisions for both Gi and No Gi. Their courage and determination were truly inspiring and we're so proud of you both!

Coach Boston's triumph: Coach Boston is a regular competitor. He dominated the mats with amazing performances, clinching Gold in his Gi division with impressive submissions and earning silver in the No Gi. His relentless drive and skill were truly unmatched!

As we celebrate these fantastic achievements, we are already looking forward to the future. The QLD State Championship has set a high benchmark, and our students are more motivated than ever to continue their journey of excellence. With upcoming competitions on the horizon, we are confident that our students will keep pushing boundaries and achieving new heights!
